FAQ

NEW TO AFLO PILATES

  • First-timers to our Aflo Pilates classes are encouraged to attend our Beginner class, focusing more on form and technique.

    As you get more experienced, you'll soon be ready for our Intermediate class, which is a faster-paced and higher-intensity workout.

    • If you have any injuries, medical conditions, or if you’re pregnant, please inform your instructor before the class begins. They can offer modifications to ensure your safety and comfort.

  • Download our Aflo Pilates mobile app, or simply head to our scheduling page - and create an account.

    You'll be able to purchase a package and start booking your classes.

    *Do note that all our packages must be activated within 30 days regardless of their validity periods.

    There are 3 different class types:

    • Beginner

    • Intermediate

    • Stretch & Tone

  • Ensure you wear comfortable, form-fitting clothing that allows for unrestricted movement. Pilates grip socks are mandatory. You can buy a pair at our front desk if you forget yours.

    We encourage you to come with a water bottle as well. We have a dispenser in the studio so hydrate away.

  • We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before class to ensure a smooth start, especially for first-time visitors to Aflo. This allows for easy check-in and preparation.

    Please note, we have a strict policy against late arrivals. Members arriving more than 5 minutes late will be denied entry.

  • Reformer positions are on a first-come-first-served basis and are not assigned - so do come early to secure your favourite spot!

    Members will see a floor plan when booking - this is simply a default of our booking system and is not enforced.

BOOKINGS / CANCELLATIONS

    • Schedule: Released 1 month in advance.

    • Booking: Opens daily for classes 14 days ahead.

  • To avoid forfeiting your class credit, please cancel your classes at least 12 hours before the scheduled time. If you arrive late or fail to show up, your class credit will be forfeited, and a penalty fee will be charged.

  • When a class is full, a waitlist will activate. You’ll move up as spots open, but a spot isn’t guaranteed. Check your account regularly. The waitlist is first-come, first-served.

STUDIO SPACE

  • We are located at 40 Carpenter Street, #02-01, S059919 (beside Field Assembly).

    The nearest MRT is Clarke Quay station. Take Exit E and cross the overhead bridge.

    Once you spot SAFRA, simply walk down the street and you'll find us.

  • Our facilities include a changing room and a washroom. Kindly note that we do not have shower facilities. Water dispensers are available for your use.

OTHERS

  • Individuals attending group classes at AFLO must be at least 16 years old. A signed waiver form is required from all participants before their first class. For those under 18, an adult must be present to sign the waiver form.

  • It’s important to prioritize safety and comfort during pregnancy. Therefore, we recommend opting for Private classes instead of Group classes.

    In Private sessions, we can tailor a program specifically to your needs and body, ensuring the best possible experience for you.

  • All extension requests will be reviewed individually and are subject to approval. Please note that extensions cannot be combined with any ongoing promotions, offers, or limited-time packages.
